This image is completely generated using an an algorithm called an L-system, named after Aristid Lindenmayer, a Hungarian theoretical biologist and botanist. It uses a set of rules that mimic botany, and say when branches can split and how, with some randomness peppered in and a lot of trial and error for the painting style.
I chose this print from tens of random generations, as part of a 3-print set. Only 10 prints of this kind will be printed.
